Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • Apply principles of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science to mechanical systems

  • Develop practical knowledge of manufacturing processes, mechatronics, and CAD

  • Manage and maintain mechanical systems within industrial and engineering contexts

Course Overview 

This Diploma in Mechanical Engineering program integrates these courses to provide students with a comprehensive foundation in Mechanical  Engineering principles.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

  • The student must be at least 18 years old.

  • A pass is required for the requirement of minimum 3 ‘O’ Level or equivalent qualifications, including English and any 2 Science subjects 

  • A pass in ‘O’ Level English or Higher Secondary Pass in English

  • For applicants who do not possess ‘O’ Level qualification, the equivalent qualifications that will be considered for the academic requirement are as follows:

  1. Secondary Education Certificate (for students from Bangladesh) 

  2. Higher Secondary School Certificate (for students from India)  

  • The requirements for English language proficiency may vary by country and education system. For example, in India, a Higher Secondary Pass in English Language typically requires a minimum of 40% marks in the subject, while in Bangladesh, a minimum GPA of 2.5 in English in the Higher Secondary Certificate exam is typically required.

  • Matured students with more than 3 years of relevant working experience will be considered.
